I’m Heather, I’m an Artist. I work as a teaching artist part-time but provide workshops and painting events through the year either at a venue or in my own home. I used to be a primary school teacher and have escaped the chalk face to do what I love!

My mantra is always to make things simple but effective, so everything I do in a workshop can be done by anyone, no matter their level of skill or experience. The point is to have fun, be creative and enjoy ourselves along the way.

I am fully DBS checked, as I work with children every day in my day job, and hold a current First Aid certificate. I have full Public Liability Insurance.
My job is to help you discover your creativity, teach you skills, and help you trust and enjoy the process.

My main focus is Painting Experiences but I also take commissions for painting or drawing. I can also lead staff training workshops, birthday party activities for older children and adults or private painting events within reasonable distance of Hammerwich.

I have beautiful handwriting and also make signs for weddings, parties and businesses. I work very closely with you to make sure you’re getting exactly what you require with my distinctive style and creativity.
