Angela’s art has been inspired by her travels, whether it be the dramatic skies of the Outer Hebrides to the turquoise seas of Cornwall or from red desert rocks, to tropical sunsets.

I’m an artist living in Staffordshire, UK. I love the outdoors and having studied geology at university, worked as a park ranger in Utah and been a teacher of geography, my work has been strongly influenced by landscapes and the colours of nature. As someone who lives in the U.K. about as far away from the coast as you can, I love painting seascapes.
I am inspired by the dramatic skies of the Outer Hebrides to the brilliant blues of Cornwall. Also the varied landscapes of North Yorkshire, Teesside, Staffordshire, Worcestershire, Southwest USA and Mauritius, places that for one reason or another are home.
